Building this app was a significant departure from my usual focus on UX and HCI research. It was a fulfilling experience to create something functional that fans can enjoy, but it also highlighted areas for improvement. Specifically, the project underscored the importance of considering UX principles early in the development process, particularly around user interactions, accessibility, and customization.
Enhanced Accessibility: Implementing more inclusive design features like larger touch targets and VoiceOver support.
Advanced Customization: Allowing users to customize map pins and interface colors.
Additional Features: Adding localization support for a broader audience and integrating more complex search functionalities
